The Ministry of Education – University Education was established by Royal Decree No. 1/236 in 1395/5/1/8 (1975) to implement the Kingdom’s policy in university education. The Minister of Education is responsible for implementing the government policy in the field of education. The university education has received generous support in the establishment of new universities, scientific and applied colleges and huge budgetary allocations.
